Yo, word up brother
Someone posted that on Squatjuice about 8 months ago.
Here’s me playing at the Waterfront in Norwich (supporting Half Man Half Biscuit!) with a band I was in last year.

Anyone have any suggestions or advantages disadvantages of Acoustic and Electric?I was kindly given a sax, but I’ve never learnt anything more than a few notes. Would love to able to play some modern ska on it.
As for the difference between acoustic and electric guitars, it really depends on why and what you want to play. Personally if I was to get a guitar (which I will when I can spare the money), it’s gonna be an acoustic because I want to play blues and folk type stuff, and nice picky-acoustic mellow music.
The obvious advantage of having an electric is that you can get an amp and play really fucking loud! You also have the further advantage of effects and feedback etc – you can’t play a Steve Vai solo on an acoustic!
An advantage of learning on an acoustic is that the strings are a bit further apart.
I have a bass on which I can play some songs on, mostly Stone Roses and Joy Division, would love to learn how to play it properly though, real funk slap bass solos!
Nah, I meant how do I post a video on here, but Grasschopper did it for me.
Underworld – Born Slippy Nuxx
Omni Trio – Renegade SnaresFollowed by SO many classic jungle tunes, for instance:
DJ Ron – Crackman
DJ Phantasy – 44 Mag
Roni Size Reprezent – Brown Paper Bag
LTJ Bukem – Demon’s Theme
A-Sides – Into Existance
Shy FX – Gangsta Kid
Remarc – R.I.P
Remarc – Ricky
Origin Unknown – Valley Of The Shadows
DJ Zinc – Fugees Or Not
Cutty Ranks – Limb By Limb
Ellis Dee – Ooh Boy
Sparks – Hang Them High
Hyper On Experience – Lil Ruffian
etc etc etcdjrichie_t;267044 wrote:lol yeah or the classic one where some silly twat decides to wire individual circuits straight onto the comb (busbar) on a cu rather than through a fuse/mcbThat’s criminal. The first bit of design I do on a panel is always the fuse protection for anything that’s being fed off the busbars.
All it can really come down to is:
Likes – music that makes me feel “something”
Dislikes – music that doesn’t make me feel anything except maybe dispair at how rubbish it is, or boredom
regardless of genres.
You wanna talk genres, I’ll talk genres, but it really is superflous information.

Also, yo simply can’t just put “dance” as a dislike, seeing as most of your likes fall under that catergory. I’m a musical pedant, but be more specific.

I like Jonah, that’s hillarious. But I don’t really like any of the other characters.
DontBeliveTheHype!;267038 wrote:ah i only know about 2 and recently saw somthing about a third in the making .. mby i am just behind the times and saw some old web site …There was Dummy and Portishead, and then a live album recorded with a full orchestra at the NYC Roseland Ballroom (I think), the title being something similar, which is amazing, and then last year they released the third studio album after a ten year year break, aptly titled Third.
I saw Portishead in December 2007 at the ATP Nightmare Before Chrstmas festival. It was the first time they’d played a gig in 10 years – they’d played on the Friday and Saturday nights, I saw them on the Saturday (got there too late on the Friday). It was spine-tingling hearing them play so many classic songs that I’d let slip to the back of my mind. My friend saw them both nights and said the Saturday was better. I’ve a recording of the Saturday somewhere, I’ll upload it.
Or is it more likely because, having just thought about it, agnosticism is more of a concept than a faith, whereas atheism is regarded as a faith (which doesn’t make complete sense, really)?
I WANNA BE ADORED – THE STONE ROSES
Close contenders:
A Day In The Life – The Beatles
Love Will Tear Us ApartThe ‘Houdini’ album by the Melvins (current song is ‘Going Blind’)
After this it will be more Melvins. Trying to mould the way that I think as a drummer for a new band I’m possibly starting. That and the fact that I absolutely love the Melvins!

Learn more and become better at my job.

Start my own soup kitchen of sorts (ha! I bet that surprised you)

You don’t know me but I’ve seen you about and know plenty of people you do.I’ve never been knocked out by anyone apart from myself, Ketamine killed the scene and I’ve got some nice Since Lamps if you want to borrow them <although that might have been before your SJ involvement, I don't know.
Hayplar! Yeah, I’m sure our paths have crossed along the way. I remember you from the board though, with the killer truck in your avatar (yes?), and your radio sets. I think since lamps are before my time (I’m 2005 crew), but I remember fondly taking over the Lily Allen board!
